Jerry & Jenni Wyatt  owners of 1332 Pelican Watch
Retired but fully engaged in life, our home is on Lake Norman in NC.  We discovered Seabrook Island in the early 80’s when docked at Bohicket Marina for a week’s stay.  Later, a family home on Kiawah Island gave us numerous opportunities to explore the entire Charleston area with our two children.  We made lots of fun family memories biking, crabbing, walking the beach, flying kites and playing games together in the evening.  After the home sold, we stayed in condos in different areas on Kiawah and Seabrook.  As Kiawah became more developed, we appreciated the unspoiled beauty and serenity of Seabrook.  Although we have stayed in villas at Spinnaker, Creekwatch, Courtside, High Hammock and Atrium, we always returned to Pelican Watch.  These villas truly have the best views on the island!   When it became possible for us to buy a Pelican Watch villa, we toured every unit on the market.  When we stepped inside 1332, we were impressed by the immaculate condition and meticulous care maintained by the previous owners.  However, it was this villa’s riveting panoramic view that made the decision for us!
Though we sold our financial planning practice, we still find ourselves desiring unstructured “down time” with each other, family and friends.  Seabrook Island is a place conducive to creative thinking and complete relaxation.  After a visit to Seabrook, we come back home energized and refreshed…ready to embrace life’s demands!  We hope individuals and couples visiting our villa will enjoy this same rejuvenating experience.  We are also committed to investing in our marriage of forty-two years.  We have seen the positive results in our relationship of scheduling romantic getaways and retreats.  We are blessed to be able to strengthen marriages and families by facilitating quality couple time together.
We value privacy and quiet, which is why we were drawn to the pristine beauty of Seabrook Island.  Our villa building is set back from the parking lot in a lush setting of trees and foliage.  There is a beautiful magnolia tree right outside our bedroom window.  Although Building 3 is closest to the beach providing unobstructed, long-range views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Edisto River, it is located away from the traffic of the public walkway (open to all Seabrook Island guests).  From our back porch, you can access 3 ½ miles of unspoiled beach, watch spectacular sunsets over an expansive island-studded waterway, delight in dolphins dancing in the surf, view wild deer browsing in the dunes and see all manner of shorebirds including great blue herons, green herons, egrets, pelicans, sandpipers, oyster catchers, and kingfishers.  If you, like us, love natural beauty, then savor the best of Seabrook in our beachside villa!
